Leading the Way: A Message from Your BDNWA Committee
As the Basingstoke & Deane Neighbourhood Watch Association (BDNWA) moves into a new era, we want to take a moment to reflect on our leadership and our vision for the future.
The heart of any Association is its people. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Tony Tuck (former Chair) and Mike Coe (former Vice Chair) for their dedicated service and hard work over the years. Their commitment has provided the foundation upon which we are now building a safer, stronger and more active community. But luckily for us, they’re not going far and retain vital roles on the committee.
Who we are and what we do
Our Committee is more than just an administrative group; we are a strategy-led team of volunteers dedicated to supporting our local coordinators and members. Our role is to:
- Coordinate & Support: Bridging the gap between national initiatives and our local streets.
- Signpost & Empower: Ensuring you have the right tools and support.
- Protect & Represent: Handling our Association’s governance and data with the highest professional standards.
A Focus on Inclusion
Whether you are a long-standing Coordinator or a resident looking to make a difference, we are your partners in community safety. We invite you to learn more about our structure and our goals on our Committee Page.
