Bringing our Community Together on Our Watch 🤝

At the Basingstoke & Deane Neighbourhood Watch Association (BDNWA), we are modernising how we stay in touch to ensure no scheme is left behind. As part of our commitment to becoming a more transparent and supportive Association, we are asking all local schemes to make sure they are registered on the national Our Watch system.

By ensuring every scheme is registered on a unified, national platform, we are bridging the gap between the Committee and our dedicated members across the borough.

Please note: If your scheme is already registered on the national Our Watch system, no further action is required – you are already part of our new era!

The benefits for your street include:

  • Prioritised Data Security
Your information is held securely on a national platform, giving you full control over your own data.
  • Exclusive Member Benefits
Registered members gain access to a range of exclusive discounts on security solutions and home safety products.
  • Public Liability Insurance
Ensure your local group activities are protected through the national policy.
  • Enhanced Support
By being on the map, our Membership Support Administrators (MSAs) can provide you with better guidance should you need it.

How to make the move

Whether you have led a scheme for years or are just starting out, the process is simple. We want to ensure that communities in Basingstoke and Deane are represented and supported.

  1. Visit www.ourwatch.org.uk to register your scheme or join an existing one.
  2. Follow the simple steps to set up your profile.
  3. Once registered, one of our MSAs will be in touch.

Timeline

To ensure our records are accurate and helpful, we ask all long-standing schemes to register on the national system by 20 April. Register today to stay on the map!

Your Voice at the AGM

Our Annual General Meeting is approaching! Registering now ensures your scheme is formally recognised. This means you will receive the required 30-day notice and your invitation.
